• A helmet must be worn at all times whilst riding on the property

• Suitable footwear must be worn on the property at all times i.e., closed in shoes

• Please leave the arena as you found it and report any damage to jumps fences or gates, the rider/user acknowledges that they may be required to pay for any damage caused during the rental period depending on the circumstances. 

• Every rider/user must clear all horse poo from the arena's, parking areas. You will be provided with a wheelbarrow, muck out tools and a muck pile

• Rates are based on an hourly basis, please be considerate and stick to the times booked

• Maintain safe practices at all time, the proprietor reserves the right to ask riders to leave if unsafe or dangerous practices are observed

• Anyone entering the property understands that they do so at their own risk, proprietor denies all liability

• Courteous behaviour towards other users is expected at all times

• No dogs to be brought onto the property at any time. Riders/users acknowledge that the proprietor has pets and livestock on the property and accept the additional risk associated with these animals being on the property

• Riders/users acknowledge that horseback riding and equestrian sports can be dangerous. Horses may act or react unpredictably based upon instinct, fright, or lack of proper control by the rider. Riders/users understand that the following describes some, but not all, of the risk, dangers or conditions inherent in horseback riding and equestrian sports

- the propensity of a horse to behave in ways that may result in injury, harm to persons on or around them;

- the unpredictability of a horse's reaction to sounds, sudden movement, and unfamiliar objects, persons, other animals, or other things;

- certain hazards such as surface and subsurface conditions;

- collisions with other horses or objects including the ground, fences, gates, trees, or other obstacles;

- a falling horse landing on its rider;

- being stepped on, kicked, trampled or bitten by a horse;

- becoming entangled in the stirrups, reins, or other gear;

- the potential of a fellow rider to act in a negligent manner that may contribute to an injury to the Hirer.

 

• I acknowledge the possibility that I may have an accident while using the Facilities that could injure me. I specifically assume full responsibility for such a possibility.

• I covenant that I am competent to ride horses in the Facilities and I assume full and total responsibility for the horse I am riding.

• I agree that we shall not hold Flaxton Equestrian responsible for any injury suffered by the rider/user as a result of the use of the Facilities.

• I agree that we shall not hold Flaxton Equestrian responsible for any loss, damage, costs or compensation (either direct or indirect) which may be suffered by the rider/user in relation to the use of the Facilities

• I agree to indemnify Flaxton Equestrian against any cost, expense, loss or other liability which Flaxton Equestrian suffers or incurs in relation to the use of the Facilities by the rider/user.

• I agree that as the rider/user making the booking and signing this disclaimer form that I take full responsibility for the actions of anyone else that may enter the property with me at the time of the booking and will ensure that they are made fully aware of the above terms and conditions and that they comply with them fully
